Core operations of Department of Medical Management cover policies formulation of career management and implementation of human resources management related to military medical professionals; documentation/ archives operations; supervision and execution of logistic operations of units assigned to Medical Affairs Bureau (to include construction engineering, occupational safety & health, group mess/dining, ordnance & ammunition, official residences & dormitories); and implementation of general affairs of Medical Affairs Bureau.

In implementing human resources operations, the Department aims to construct a fair, just, transparent, and adequate career management platform for armed forces medical professionals, to recruit, retain, and cultivate talents in the field of military medicine.

In implementing logistic operations, the Department primarily adopts a strategy of “matching resources capacity with support methodology” to facilitate building and sustaining medical and health service support capacity for all military medical units to provide armed forces personnel adequate healthcare services and healthy working environment, with which armed forces personnel can undergo rigorous combat skills trainings and in turn upgrade and enhance their performance and mission effectiveness in both combat and training/exercise scenarios.
